đCommunity profile feature:
Sibanye Animal Welfare and Conservancy Trust
Founded in and registered as a Trust in Zimbabwe in 2018, Sibanye Animal Welfare and Conservancy Trust (SAWCT) is an animal welfare, wildlife, biodiversity conservation, and climate mitigation organisation. Animal welfare is the core of their programming; all rights are essential for humans and non-humans. Using one health concept approach, they introduce strategies and systems to attend to possible eventualities through campaigns (including plant-based education), and practical interventions such as vaccinations. The environmental focus is on safeguarding biodiversity, climate change mitigation, and adaptation strategies, and those most vulnerable, being women, children, people with disabilities, and those from poor communities. You can view their programs here contact the team at admin@sibayezim.org.

đSend me your news, research, resources, and jobs.
Want me to feature your information in this newsletter? Please use this form until 20th September and Iâll consider including it. I will also send a reminder a week before the deadline. Any messages submitted after the deadline will likely be included in the next edition.
Some criteria on how I decide whether to include it:
good for the community members to know and will help form their views on animal advocacy (research, interesting blogs, etc.)
overall impactful project/activity/job/resource (a new course, program, etc.)
whether it fits the newsletterâs timeframe (something thatâs happened in the last 3 months or that will be accessible in the next 2-3 months or later).
if youâre looking for collaborators on a project, or for some kind of input (like research, survey, a new project, etc.)
Please have a low bar for sending me your information. I will include the information on a first come first served basis if the limit for the emailâs length for Gmail is reached (otherwise the email will be clipped).
đĽPlease consider leaving anonymous feedback about this newsletter here. This will help me to produce a more useful version for you next time!
đ°I havenât received any major funding for this project and it is currently supported by a few readers like you. If you see value in it and would like to support it, please consider donating here (any amount matters!) or email me at impactfulanimalgroup@gmail.com about donation options.
đĽWant to connect?
If youâre new in the community or havenât met me yet, please feel free to add me on LinkedIn and send me a message to say hello. You can share what youâre working on, bounce some ideas off, and Iâll do my best to connect you with people and resources in the community.
Iâve started a LinkedIn page where Iâll post any updates that I think are impactful, but will expire by the time I send out the next newsletter.
