Hi all,
Thanks so much for being a subscriber and for sending me your updates for the latest newsletter.
Please send me your updates via this form by the 20th of September if you’d like them to be featured in the next newsletter - that’s 18 days to submit here.
Some ideas on what we can include:
interesting resource about animal welfare work or something of general nature that animal advocates will benefit from - they don’t necessarily need to be the latest if you found a lot of value in them. Can be a podcast, a blog post, a course, etc.
funding opportunities, either from yourself or something you’re aware of.
if you’re looking for collaborators on a project, or for some kind of input (like research, survey, a new project, etc.)
related events after 21 September and during October, but also the later “save the date” ones).
jobs you are hiring for or just saw online, at impactful organisations, with deadlines to apply after 21 September.
a community member or an organisation you recently became aware of and you think others will be interested to read about them (this can be your organisation or yourself).
any news that you think the community will be interested in hearing.
Some criteria on how I decide whether to include it:
good for the community members to know and will help form their views on animal advocacy (research, interesting blogs, etc.)
overall impactful project/activity/job/resource (a new course, program, etc.)
whether it fits the newsletter’s timeframe (something that’s happened in the last 2 months or that will be accessible in the next 2-3 months or later).
For community members, I will try to prioritise people and organisations from countries where the movement is neglected.
Please have a low bar for sending me your information. I will include the information on a first come first served basis if the limit for the email’s length for Gmail is reached (otherwise the email will be clipped).
Thanks so much all.
Sofia
Thanks for your hard work!
Keep up the great work, Sofia! Excited to see where this leads.
